NoCo Radon takes pride in the fact that we physically come out to every potential project in order to determine the complexity, rout, and price involved in that project. Other radon mitigation/testing companies may try selling you over the phone or via email but without initial eyes and hands on the project, they may overlook details and try changing the already promised estimate after you've already agreed and signed at a certain price point. We ensure the best plan to mitigate your home or property by bringing you, the homeowner or contractor, in on the process. You are the one living in your home so you should have a say in where your radon mitigation system is placed. Achieving both the very best aesthetically pleasing piping option as well as functionally of the system are our main goals for every system we install. Coming out in person also gives you a chance to meet our team, who we are as individuals and as a company. We believe you should have a say in who you want in your home and who you trust with this important health concern.
Our main goals in this industry are to first educate everyone on the dangers of radon gas, then to mitigate high levels of radon in order to prevent serious health concerns such as lung cancer. We hope you choose to trust NoCo Radon for your radon testing and mitigation solutions but we understand if you inevitably go with another company. Our concern is for you and your loved ones health.
In July 2021, Colorado signed HB21-1195 (Regulation of Radon Professionals) into law, requiring radon professionals (both conducting measurements and mitigation) to be certified with one or both of two Nationally accredited programs (NRPP or NRSB) as well as licensed by the state of Colorado under The Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
We recommend not even considering companies you can't look up their installers credentials on.
Here are a few links you can search for radon professionals and check their credentials:
